So my daughter has a rash on her face. She’s had it since she was born. Sometimes it looks like it’s clearing up and almost gone. The next day it flares up and itches like crazy. I don’t know what’s causing it to flare up. Doctor has tried to treat it but I think they’re guessing at this point so I’m trying to get her to a dermatologist but now they need a referral. It could be eczema or dermatitis. It itches so bad at night. I’ve tried aquaphore eucerine and an over the counter cortisone cream. Any suggestions are welcome.

I just used the daily moisture lotion, was trying to first see if it works, and it worked well. I didn't get the set. I would advice you don't bath her with soap until it clears up, just warm water on the face cloth

My daughter had the same. We used Aveeno and it cleared up completely. Creaming her a couple of time per day

I purchased an Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Night Balm that I used last night it seemed to help.

My god daughter had a very similar if not the same rash. She turned out to be allergic to dairy. Once she switched to a dairy free formula it started clearing up. Have they looked into allergies?

I’m looking into allergies now. That may be the cause of her flare ups. I may be eating something that’s being passed to her through breastmilk.

Looks like baby acne to me. If it is there is nothing you can do but wait, but with that being said moisturizers will make it worse... I would not put cortisone on her face. Stick with breast milk! Hope she gets some relief soon.

I only used the cortisone once. I’m trying to stick with everything natural. The problem is that I think it’s a mixture of eczema and acne. So what treats the eczema will make the acne worse.

Yes. I love it because I don’t have to worry about it if she gets it on her hands or in her mouth. It helps heal her skin but her face is still itchy at night

Have you tried breast milk? My daughter broke out like that when she was 3/4 months, but it was all over her body. Someone recommended to rub breast milk on it and it actually started clearing up. I’m not 100% sure if it’ll work for you, but it’s worth a try

I tried it but I noticed that it made her skin more dry so I have to moisturize it more often

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
