I would just like to clarify beforehand that I live with my mom and pay minimal bills...yes I know, lucky me. Now for my question, is 2 months after my baby is born too early to plan to go back to work? 😬🤷🏽♀️ I’ll be pumping and I know I’ll miss his tiny self but I’d like opinions please
Do you have to go back or just wanting to? If it's not a must spend as much time with your newborn as you can. They're only little once
I love this. No I don’t have to, just feel like I should contribute to the new baby expenses as much as possible. but my SO gets 4 months paid off so either way baby will be cared for
@taylor.bush29 maybe consider if all of your bills will be taken care of while your SO has off and how much time your job will allow you. It would be considerate to go back to work if even the small amount of bills that you normally do pay won't be covered.
Some people only have 6weeks off. So 2 months is good. I went back after six weeks with my daughter. And she was EBF. So I pumped a couple times at work before I even went to work. The hardest part was being away from her though. Even though I knew she was in good hands with her daddy I still missed her dearly
Were you jealous at all having her be with daddy and not you? 😬😭 he has 4 months paid paternity leave and I don’t get anything!
Whenever your ready I went back to work at five months had awful anxiety quit my job and didn't go back till she was 1. That time it was so much easier. (that's when you don't have to go back asap) maybe try part time at first and see how it goes some people have no problem going back. Just ease into it.
