@jaixi, oh perfect! I was told to wait 18 months after my csection before getting pregnant if I wanted to try for a vaginal birth. The only stipulation my doctor has with me trying a vbac is I have to go into labor on my own, they can’t induce. I’m not sure why but that’s fine with me. I went into labor on my own with my daughter anyway. Check Pinterest for vbac tips too!

@katemmy, labor on your own mean like dilating or like your water breaks by its self?

Also did they explain why no inducing? I saw a lot of women get induced with vbac...

@jaixi, she said that was just the new hospital policy, but she also told me that like a year ago when we talked about possibly having another so it could’ve changed since. And she meant like dilating on your own. I’ll definitely be checking into it more as time progresses, I only just had my first appointment a couple weeks ago.

@mamaof2soon, and they also said if I do go into labor on my own before my date , and that if I need pitocen , that can also cause a rupture

It’s one of the things I worry about. I want the doctor I had last time but I fear he won’t approve a vbac for me.
