How/why do you buy a car EVERY year with your tax refund?? I know people can spend their money how they want...no judgement, u can buy 1,000 packs of skittles...but I know 2 ppl who has bought a car EVERY tax season for the last 3 years!! Like stop buying buckets and spend a little more for a better car or put a down payment on one. I just think that's a waste of money. What's one big thing you're buying/doing if you get a refund 🤔 #PayingOffMyCC #DressersForTheKids
Paying off our credit card. Haha I wish we didn’t have the debt, otherwise it would have been nice to save it and perhaps treat ourselves. We always claim 0 and this time have 2 children.
Most of mine is going into savings for the summer, in case my husband gets laid off for the summer (which he usually does). But our one big purchase is a new 70" tv
We are getting a ton back (like $15k) because the hubby claimed 0 and had them withhold extra taxes as well. We’re buying a bigger vehicle, paying off debt, buying stuff for the new baby, and some is going towards our summer wedding ceremonies and trip to visit family 💙
My hubby always claims zero on his deductions as well, so we are getting a good amount back. I'd rather them take a little more every week so we don't have to owe at tax time
@doubleksmommy, girll I need new tires , brakes , windshield, battery and the list goes on 😒
I bought a car last year 😂 our engine threw a rod on the 805 on ramp! And we’ll probably get a new cat next year 🤣
Buying a new car getting prepared for the new baby and moving into a bigger apartment
Paying off cc and other accounts we still owe on. Last year we had unexpected emergencies so we owe medical bills. First thing is getting rid of those!
Yes! Def med bills. I did that with last year return paid off all my med and cc bills it was great lol
Buying a twin bed, if we decide to keep this baby buying a bigger car with a 3rd row, putting money in savings
I want a bigger car So bad too. Maybe next year lol
@doubleksmommy, I do them myself. I've had someone else and it not make a difference. Lol idk what boocoo money is... But I make enough to where since I don't have any assets, I lose.
@rese boocoo = ALOTTTT lol. Oh wow. Well, maybe next year with two kids you'll get a little something something.
@doubleksmommy, 🤣 I've heard the term. But for some 6 figures is a lot, some billions is a lot. I didn't know how you defined it lol but yeah I'm hoping! It'd be nice.
Not my tax refund cause some sh*t happened with my checks 🙃 but my mom is giving us some of hers to put towards move in costs for our own place
Oh no,You weren't able to file or you're just not receiving a refund?
@doubleksmommy, fed taxes are not being taken out of my pay checks for some reason so I don’t get anything
I’m one of those 👍🏻 and no shame I started with a mustang I only got enough to buy a car so I did that the next year I had a baby and that car wasn’t baby friendly sold it added a little more tax money and got a better one and I done that about 3 years in a row lucky I didn’t purchase any buckets.... I would love nothing more to drive off the lot with a car but realistically it’s not going to happen🤷🏻♀️ When it’s time I’ll do it🤗☺️
Well that's understandable esp if you have to upgrade or get a bigger car for more kids. These chicks just keep buying buckets for no reason LOL
@doubleksmommy, haha no I usually sell the old one and put more in for a bigger budget luckily all the cars I’ve bought have been good to me and they look good most people think I make payments on them 🤷🏻♀️
I'm paying my debt putting the rest up. I'm gonna tint my windows but I'm gonna do it w my regular check when I get paid nxt month lol I've been there fcking off my tax but now I'm older so I have to be smarter
Paying off my ticket and change my oil for my car. Probably buy my daughter a little bit of clothes.
Im gonna save a little of mine but gonna take my daughter 2 gatlinburg TN for her birthday and not have 2 worry about my bills at the time . #worrywart
I’m paying off credit card and getting a tattoo. The rest will be saved
Same! Ha, we’re getting my daughters name before she gets old enough to ask why we have her brothers and not hers 😂
@katelynknitseverything I gotta get my daughters name too lol
Yeah.. I’m getting like $20 back this year, we got screwed
We are not touching our income tax until October. We are going to pretend that we didn’t receive this money. We really want to save as much as possible for another baby and we are buy a house in the next 2 months. So the more money we can save the better. I’m not even getting new furniture, because it’ll come with time. I just want a house and no more apartment. So if my house is empty for a year oh well. Next year I’ll really be able to do what I need to fill up my house. So yeah that’s where my income is going lol
We are using 2 or 3k to do a few touches on our house so we can sell it in a few months. Buying tires for my truck and adding the rest to savings.
The fact that you said 2-3k..and then some.. Makes me so jealous! Lmao 😂 I always owe smh
@rese lol we got 5k just because of the kids if we didnt have kids we'd get nothing.
Do you own your own business is that why you owe?
@jessicalaneee, I'm about to have my second, so I guess next year I'll see if that helps 😂😂. No. I just started my own business, that will hopefully help offset next year as well.
I know people like this as well. My guess maybe more money to spend on themselves.. which is dumb because they can invest in a better car that way next tax season they can splurge on themselves and not buy their 10th car. Lol but I’m putting my money in the bank I have nothing to buy just a bunch of bills to pay.
Exactly! Like after the first time, you'd think they'd learn and realize they'd have more money the next year lol.
Omg you just reminded me I need two tires, thank you lol
@doubleksmommy lol, glad to be of assistance 😂

Irs refund release days who every file they taxes
How long did it take yall to get yalls tax refunds?
Taxes update. I was “randomly” selected so they will look into my tax documents March 1st it can take up to 45 day so I will be getting my tax refund in April
So I did a tax refund estimator to see about how much we will be getting back this year. (We have some home improvement things that have to be done)
I expected to get around 4000$ as that’s pretty close to what we got last year. According to the tax calculator we should be getting more than that back. Like... a lot more. If we do it’ll be such a blessing. Here’s to hoping the tax estimator wasn’t wrong! 🥂
