Soups on 🤤 creamy tortellini soup simmering on the stove 😍 bread sticks cooking in the oven 🥣🥄🥖

4 tablespoons Butter

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup finely diced celery

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 quart half-and-half

1 can chicken broth

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

1 cup carrots finely shredded

1 cup spinach leaves coarsely chopped

Tortellini or gnocchi either works

Melt the butter and oil in pan, add garlic, carrot, and celery. Cook until tender, add flour and whisk well for about 1 minute, then whisk in half n half, let thicken a few mins, add chicken broth and seasonings and let thicken again, then add in tortellini (frozen and uncooked) add spinach and let simmer until thickened and tortellini done. Super easy! I also add in garlic powder because I’m a garlic freak but it also gives a great flavor!
