Any pregnant mommas crave corn starch, baking powder, or baking soda ? My husband keeps dumping mine in the toilet like it's drugs and ratted me out to my Dr. Now ig u would say im in recovery. 🤦

I’m definitely like that I take iron pills cause I crave cotton strange huh but mostly Ice and it’s certain kind I have like three to four 44 oz cups a day

I crave ice too lol if I’m down to a half of bag hubs knows to grab another 😂 and yes it does matter on the kind lmao

No that’s so awful; I’m glad he told your doctor. It’s a disease called Pica and it’s a vitamin deficiency

@tinafowlkes50 Yes it's horrible! And I couldn't imagine taking 3 a day 😝 I'm going to do my best to start taking the 1 everyday. I don't know how important it is but it must be crucial if the Dr. wants us to take something for it

@tinafowlkes50 Honestly, even though i haven't been taking them everyday, I notice that the craving isn't as bad. (Its still there) but I can control myself now. So I think with time and persistence, the craving will go away. But then I see some other women on here saying the craving never went away even with the pills so I have no clue!

@miss_understood I had the same issue with my last son. He is 4 now, but I only had the craving for a few months but I never took my pills. I did loose alot of blood during delivery and was extremely cold after. So I'm hoping we both do better with our meds. ❤️ We got this.
My husband went to the thrift store to get a cupcake baking dish and he found this! Now he is baking cupcakes with our daughters.?? ?? I love that man.

On a positive note, I did two of the fun gender prediction tests tonight: the baking soda and ring test! The baking soda didn't fizz at ALL and I used a strand of my hair and my wedding ring and it was going in full fast circles! Who knows if they are true, they're just fun. ;)

I had pica when I was pregnant with both of my kids, but it was all about the ice. I guess that’s the most common. It had to be specific ice though, and my poor boyfriend has probably made over a dozen trips, to a specific gas station, ten miles from where we live to get it, in the middle of the night 😂
