Lol I'm 40 and still have breakouts. I was always told when I'm older it will get better. It was a lie! Sorry but over the counter stuff never works and it's a waste of money. You need to go to dermatologist. The only thing that has every cleared my skin is birth control pills or the meds dermatologist give you. Good luck. My acne is all hormonal. Acne is not caused by what you eat. But it can make it a bit worse. Ask Dr Oz lol
Also your skin looks super clear in your pics. What do you get like one or two zits a month?
@ladyfreyja, i wear makeup everyday to cover it all up 😖 my whole face (besides my forehead) are covered in zits & cystic acne on my chin area. ive learned to cover it well (which prob doesn’t make it any better but idk what else to do) & idk what’s caused my acne, it seems like no matter what if i’m on birth control, not on birth control, which birth control, my acne stays about the same. i’m prob gonna just have to go to the dermatologist 😩
i tried african black soap for a couple months & never noticed a difference 😔
@kartersmommyy, aw dang! Try the charcoal! I know how frustrating breakouts can be.
Frankincense EO applied the same way you do your foundation is great for bad skin. Plant Therapy has really decent prices. Just a couple drops on your brush and blend it in to your problem areas. It's an essential oil, so obviously don't put it on any open acne.
I don’t think you’re supposed to put an EO directly on your skin because of the risk of a skin sensitivity. I read that EO’s should be in a carrier oil to be applied topically to skin.
What are you using on your face ?
Also it could be foods you’re eating
@kartersmommyy, is your skinn oily or dry ? Charcoal products work well ( biore) or neutrogena has a line called rapid clear that has some good stuff .
@momofemersonbliss, i’ve got combo skin, my nose & tops of my cheeks get oily but then the rest of my skin is like a desert
