Update on my original post this morning about my boyfriends mom commenting on my daughter not having a jacket on in the 55 degree weather for 2 seconds walking into the store: HER mom also commented saying she also wants to know why she isn’t wearing a jacket. I stood up for myself and defended myself and now my boyfriend is screaming at me because I didn’t just delete the comment and move on and said he’s done with me lol. So basically he’s defending her. He never sticks up for me ever. So now i’m just driving around because I needed to get away. after my comment back she told me that I should use common sense and not read everything in blogs that say she doesn’t need a jacket for those 3 seconds and said I did something stupid 👍🏽

1: Not everyone has to voice what they’re thinking just because they can, and especially not in public for everyone else to see, she should have messaged you.
2: He should always be on your side (as long as you’re not the one causing the drama lol)
3:If he’s afraid of confrontation or something then he should have talked to his mother the last time
4: It is ridiculous that someone would think it’s okay for someone to constantly belittle you or call you out in a public post and you to just sit there and take it every single time and not stand up for yourself.

Why are they getting on Facebook trying to argue with you on a public platform where people can see? This is a family matter that should be discussed off social media. They could have called you and expressed their concerns instead of attacking and belittling you on social media. Secondly why should you have to delete a beautiful picture of your daughter because they wanna start shit on social media? He’s getting mad at you but he needs to talk to his mother who started this to begin with. You deserve respect and does he think you’re not gonna defend yourself because it’s his mom? That’s crazy and he’s willing to end the relationship? He’ll never have a successful relationship with anyone if he doesn’t check his mother. The way she came at you is wrong and honestly 3 seconds really? Seems like she just was looking for a reason to start something over nothing.

Nope. You never ever win on Facebook. Did he say anything about the jacket at the time? (That was him carrying her, right?) If he didn't say anything then, he has no right to side with them now. He didn't have a problem then, so he should be on your side. Ugh. My stepmom has also appointed herself 'coat police' so I've stopped posting pics of him without a coat, even if he's IN the car.

I’m with my son also 24/7 mentally I’m wonderful, it was only her that stressed me the hell out. Things are great now that she isn’t in the picture lol
But ur dude is definitely wrong for not backing u and letting them gang up on u, when guys do that I feel like it shows their mom/parents have worn them down into not even having a opinion anymore, and try to avoid everything like that with them.
