Opinions on circumcising ?
Why or why not
All three of my boys are circumcised.. Tradition
As a nurse I would not recommend it, it’s absolutely unnecessary. And strictly cosmetic. The so-called benefits have been debunked. And many American doctors and European doctors do not support it
If your son is circumcised deff get the new baby. If he’s not then I wouldn’t get his done

Don’t. Let him decide what he wants with his own body when he’s old enough to research and consent. It can cause many issues later on. That’s why my cut SO didn’t want our boys cut. He only has sensation on 20% of his penile tissue from his circumcision
Idk if u have Netflix but look at the documentary about circumcision it gives u both sides and do research in the end everyone opinion is different but the show actually has doctors and all it was very informative to me and I recommend it
American Circumcision is the name of the docu. I definitely recommend watching this for sure!! It does show both sides and while I personally didn’t circumcise my son, there is a part where they show how it was done and I just started bawling. I think if you are on the fence or you do not have super strong opinions on it though it can be super eye opening. Defining think it is unnecessary and damaging to kiddos without a real good reason as so many of the ‘facts’ aren’t really true. :/ But best to make your own decision and make sure you are 100% sure on that going forward @mrs.watkins4715 make the best decision for you and your family and in the end that is all you can do.
When I was deciding I just had the thought of is the pain he is gonna go through of it worth it. I asked family and friend guys and husband if they remember having it done and they dont and i dont think my sons even remembers it. They seem to forget the pain pretty easily. So i decided for it. But those are MY reasons. It's up to you and the dad though.
It's your option. I just did get my sons because it just looks better and is cleaner to me and I knew guys that didnt have it done and got infections easily but I dont know the science of it.
My son is circumcised and so will be baby #2. There dad and I felt it is what was best for our children. Do your research and dont feel pressured by other people opinions.
In my family and his we do circumcision. This is one of those debate kind of things so i'm not trying to argue with noone but this is the decision we made. Just look up the benefits which it has. Which outweigh the risk. A decreased risk of urinary tract infections.
A reduced risk of some sexually transmitted diseases in men.
Protection against penile cancer and a reduced risk of cervical cancer in female sexpartners.
Prevention of balanitis (inflammation of the glans) and balanoposthitis (inflammation of the glans and foreskin).
Prevention of phimosis (the inability to retract the foreskin) and paraphimosis (the inability to return the foreskin to its original location).
Also even if it is your son it doesn’t mean you should be able to put them in pain for your own benefit or whatever reason you do it for. If it’s a religious thing wait until the child is old enough they might not want that to be done it should be their choice just like piercing ears I waited until my daughter asked me for it.
No in my opinion we are born with what we need for our own protection. I find it cruel to do that to a baby all that pain for what?
But there is no right or wrong choice, its up to you and what you think is best for the baby. I would research both options and go from there.
I didnt get my son circumcised, to me it its a pointless procedure and the its whole "cleaner thing"isnt really true.
His dad isnt and never had issues and sonfar grey hasnt either.
It really doesn’t matter either way it’s up to you completely. My son is circumcised and he’s fine, my father in-law said he’s not circumcised and he’s never had any issues so he’s fine too, and my husband’s cousin has a blood disease that would of caused him to bleed to death if he were to get circumcised so he’s not circumcised and he’s fine he never has any problems he’s 2 years old so I don’t think it really matters honestly.
I circumcised my son because I wasn't sure if he had hypospadias like my husband and he did so I circumcised my second son and he does as well. Honestly if it wasn't for that I don't think I would have.
Me and my sons father decided together.. and we did it. It’s your guys choice.. I agree with some of the other ladies.. don’t let other people influence your decision. Have a nice long, private and personal talk with your hubby and just decide together. Research together, talk it out, talk to the pediatrician together.. it really is the best way to make that decision!
I will be getting my son done too. I feel like its cleaner snd I dont want him to be different from his dad, brothers or friends
Lol, yes. Because my husband said so. Since I don't have a penis I have no idea
I did it to my son 🤷♀️ my hubby had it done too and so has his other son. Just with not doing it you have to pull the skin back and clean it better than what you would if it was cut. It's just extra skin. I'm not here to debate and idc if y'all agree or not. With this pregnancy with my son I'm going to have it done for him.
My opinion is do whatever you want with your child’s penis. Don’t listen to moms on an app. The only other persons opinion you need is their fathers.
If we ever have a boy, I’m going to let my husband decide this one. I have mixed emotions on it myself.
It’s not necessary. It’s painful. It’s more convenient for you than the child. Just make sure you keep your baby clean no matter what and there should be no need for the baby being circumcised. Do you research online it tells you what you need to know.

??♀️ why?! Just why?
Potty Training *Updated*
Why is there such a push to do it so early?

Positive?? Or almost?? Ugh why are these so difficult. Lol
