Maternity leave Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier

My sister had to take off unexpectedly because her water broke at 34 weeks and she had to stay in the hospital with her son because he’d stop breathing and he wouldn’t eat and had to have a feeding tube. So I would take off at 30 to 31 weeks just to be on the safe side.

I worked until my due date with my son, and boned out at 36 weeks with my daughter thinking I’d get a whole month plus with my toddler! She was born a week and a half later 😂

I worked full time before having my daughter and I worked up until I was 35 weeks but I was induced at 36w.

Wow why so early? I worked until 39 weeks with my first and 38.5 weeks with my second. It was perfect. Anything longer than that and I’d go crazy waiting!

Lol I'm not trying to take maternity as of right now but in 7-8 weeks I will be!! I'm just trying to figure out how much time I'm supposed to take off and get the nanny situation sorted as well!! I like to plan ahead!!😁😁

I went into labor at work at 39 weeks 4 days. I went back to work at 10 weeks postpartum.

I can't imagine what it would be like to go into labor at work but it's definitely has crossed my mind that could happen especially with how much pressure I'm starting to feel
