So now WIC is losing funding? That’s just great....I’m losing my insurance AND my WIC? What else? Thanks mr president💔
I would call cover California and try to sign up, their deadline just passed but maybe they’ll be able to work something out and see what you qualify for
Yes! Call them. If you qualify for medi-cal, you are eligible at any point in the year to get it. Not just open enrollment.
I’m sure it’s stressful, but as far as I know wic is fine in most states. It’s probably more stressful for people who haven’t gotten their paycheck for a few weeks though.
I know I feel bad for government workers....like what are they supposed to do now? This isn’t their fault they didn’t choose for the shut down to happen and they pay for it....
@ek_, fuuuucck 😂 I’m so glad I didn’t say that to the poor trans man who calls himself a daddy sea horse. I already make enough of a fool of myself. 😂😫😫
@dee2115, I just hope I come back from being this stupid this early on in pregnancy.
@bubbys.mommy, gotcha the way it’s worded I took it as your loosing both because of the shutdown, hopefully you get it figured out
@mb2424, oh no no I’m sorry yeah I didn’t lose my insurance because of it I just can’t get it back because of it 😭
I seriously hope so. I’m losing my health insurance and my sons which would also be my new baby’s insurance so I’m already super stressed and I don’t rely on wic but it’s a MAJOR MAJOR help in my household.
WIC is state based but sadly some WIC programs are funded by money states get from the government.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I’m sure it’s stressful, but as far as I know wic is fine in most states. It’s probably more stressful for people who haven’t gotten their paycheck for a few weeks though.
