How do you slowly ween your baby off of nipple bottles to switch to sippy cups

We started at 6 months old with a soft spout sippy cup. Then kept trying different cups until we found one he liked. Then kept taking the bottle feeds away and replaced them with the sippy cup. We had him off the bottle by his first birthday.
I was gonna get this for my boy twin. Maybe I should. I just hate wasting money on these damn sippy cups. How many sippy cups do you have per child? Im wondering how many I will need for each of my twins. They will be drinking milk and water. So I was think at least 4 cups each.
I'm in the process of doing this now with my twins. My boy twin freaks if I give him his milk out of a sippy but my girl twin took right to it. My boy twin barely will even drink water. I don't think he likes it
@ameliasmomma, with a sippy they have to learn to put their head back. With the straw one they dont have too
Cold turkey. Just offered it to him and he took it.
I tried tht and Amelia just cried instead of drinking her milk
Following. My kiddo refuses to drink out of anything that isn't his bottle still. 😑
My kid didn't kind much when we switched her to soft nipple sippys at 6 months. Close to 1 we switched her to 360 cups, took her a bit but she figured it out.
