Alright ladies my almost 6m old nephew has gone 3 days not pooping, he’s been fussy and hasn’t been wanting to eat. What do you guys recommend?

My son was doing this when he was first born, I also tried everything everyone is mentioning and nothing helped, I switched his formula to Gerber smooth and he seemed to do a little better after that, I also found out he had extremely bad acid reflux (i dont know if the two are related)
There is also some probiotics you can buy that helps them use the bathroom, it’s all natural stuff.
But you mentioned something that scream acid reflux to me, the fussiness and the not eating are actually two big signs of acid reflux, you may want to tell mom to have pediatrician to check him for it.

Thank you !💕 we went to Walmart and they didn’t have it. My SIL took him to the dr and they gave him medicine so hopefully it helps. He’s going on 4 days.

It's normal for them to go a couple days without pooping, I forgot how long but I'm sure you can Google it. I'd say just let it run its course. Is he in any pain at all?

@damians_mommy awww poor little love, have you tried massaging the abdomen or gently holding their legs bent up towards the belly to help him push?

aww, maybe the nurse hotline in you're area? They can answer to the best of their knowledge or even a labor and delivery place, after both my kids were born I still had questions and stuff happening afterwards and would call and ask stuff. Prayers going his way mama, so sorry he's going through that.

Does it work better than apple juice? We’ve given him apple juice and it didn’t help him.

Apple juice tends works much slower than prune juice. Prune juice is magical. Definitely try it.
