Period was suppose to start today, it can be irregular after haveing a baby right I'm freaking out and cant get a test till tmrw, had back pain last night but went away and haven't had any sign of my period sense
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
I had Mirena for about 5 1/2 -6 Months. And got it taking out March10,2015 and had my first period March 12,2015, and it was a regular period and havent got one since. Could it be the IUD? Lady's that has had the Mirena taking out how did it affect your period!

I gotta question could I be pregnant and have 2 1/2 day period because I think i got pregnant on Nov 26 and had implantation bleeding on Dec 11 because I'm usually on my period for at least 4 days but mostly 5 or 6 which my full period was Nov 11 for 5 days ?? but in dec only 2 1/2 days it's kinda confusing really im excited about my Dr visit feb19 to know for sure :)

Yes it can be irregular after having a baby. Mine never got back to normal after my first.

Yeah I've had 1 period sense I gave birth. Were you worrying every month that you were pregnant?

At the beginning I worried but I became more aware of my fertile days and just avoided those days.

Mine was irregular for the first 4/5 months. I even had spotting in between periods which freaked me out. Always had protected sex too. Just my body getting back to normal I suppose. Like if have a normal 28 day cycle, bleed halfway through. Then have a 35 day cycle or something like that. But they eventually went back to normal I believe when my son was 5 months

Your hormones are still trying to regulate itself so this is normal. However, some women do experience a long-term change in their cycles after childbirth and that’s also normal. Especially if breastfeeding.
Maybe try contraception, or natural preventative methods like temping (it lets you know when you ovulate & then avoid intercourses around that time.)

Okay this eases my mind a little that its normal but ill get a test just in case. I've never had a reg period bc I was always on birth control then I got off a year ago then got pregnant. So I'm waiting till my period starts to put the patch on. I was suppose to put it on last month when I had my period but the nurse said to take it after my period but the box said do it in the first 24 hrs of your period so I lost my chance to take it

Even though we used protection I'd freak out lol I did buy pregnancy tests to calm my nerves haha

Were doing the pull out method its not the safest but we both don't like condoms.

Yeah it can take a while for your cycle to regulate after birth. It’s annoying but pretty common. If you’re not using protection though, I’d take a test.

See I was on birth control pills from jan 2018 and I stop taking the pills in April of 2018

My periods have been so messed up since having my daughter. My ob said that they won’t be regular until about a year after birth
