It depends on your starting height and weight. My doctor told me to gain 25-35 lbs. There are pregnancy weight gain calculators online.

That's what I tried to do!
Just know "eating for two" doesn't mean you have to feel like you need to eat double, eat when you are hungry and until you are full.
Also remember EVERY ONE IS DIFFERENT, so DON'T WORRY too much, just know what YOU NEED!! 😘
I found what helps alot to keep your weight in order is lots and lots of walking hun I eat regular food and my cravings and just by walking I keep my weight down. Walk the mall a few times or even the swapmeet and you'll be fine💕

I gained 38 with my son and was basically back pre pregnancy weight after two weeks. All that water retention weight! I got so much shit in my third trimester for my weight gain which ended up being pointless for the dr to get on my case about. -.-
It depends. Were you overweight to begin with? I only gained 25lbs for both my pregnancies. And I'm already back down to my pre pregnancy weight
They have never mentioned I am overweight. I feel like I gained a it for being only 18 weeks

Btw, my doc never made my weight gain a big deal either. Some ppl say that their doctors do.
My first I gained 80 pounds my second I gained 22 pounds they say around 35 is normal

@anrg92, I gained consistently threw out both the end of my first is when I gained a lot at once but I also ate like crap and didn’t care about my weight my second I ate a lot healthier and better so as long as you eat healthy minus here and there of course you should be fine
