How to Handle Labor Anxiety at 39 Weeks?

Well ladies I'm 39 weeks today and I got a membrane sweep today which did not feel the greatest 😂 3 cm dilated 90% effaced. So we will see. Doc said because im so effaced that she thinks instead of it being 50/50 chance I'll go into labor in the next 3 days I have 60-65% chance of that happening so we will see. 💁 but I'm really scared 😨 im not someone who has this kind of attentions on me and iv been in the hospitals once before. So im not super comfortable in hospitals and I just dont know how im going to handle the pain. Im trying to go into this with a good attitude but not expecting everything to be rainbow s and butterflies. And trying to remind myself that my body is made for this. Any advice??

breathe breathe breathe! it helps tremendously, if you need to scream then let it out but make sure you’re still breathing consistently

Relax and breath threw the whole labor I know it’s hard but your body just knows and the pain is bad I am a chicken butt everything hurts complete baby and I didn’t with no epidural am the one that cries with a shot so you’ll be fine just push when they say to push so you won’t rip

The best advice I’d give you, you already said. Your body is made for this!!! Just trust yourself, your body & think of all the love you have for your baby.

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
