Being a stay at home mom with a daughter about to hit terrible twos in May and giving birth at 37 weeks has me very worried , will it be as stressful and scary as I think ?

Yes and no , but you will get through it . It’s definitely not easy and some days you will feel like pulling your hair out lol (at least I do). Find ways to keep the toddler busy games ,abcs , make her feel included with the baby . My son is 2 and very active and busy . He enjoys being included. Once you get on a schedule it will seem easier day by day . But the first few days with exhaustion from breast feeding and everything I was overwhelmed.

No it’s not as bad I was the same way with my kids wondering how it would be not saying some days won’t be hard but most days will be better it’s not as bad as you might think

Maybe I’m overthinking?

Maybe but I was nervous as well but day by day you will find your grove and what works for you.

I don't think it's bad, I love having them 2yrs apart. When my youngest was born I involved the 2yr old in almost everything. She would hand me everything i needed for diaper changes, help close the diaper, throw the diaper away, feed her baby dolls when I fed the baby & once you introduce baby food then they can help feed baby too. She would wash the baby's hair when it was bath time, pick out her clothes, etc. She would help "wash" the dishes & put them away, clean the windows, vacuum, put laundry in the washer & dryer, "fold" the laundry, dust, etc. I think as long as you involve the older one with most things and make them feel helpful and important, then everything will go smoothly. Of course it takes longer to get things done, but it's better than having a toddler who is missing out on time with mommy & baby. If you're always doing things around the house and taking care of the baby then the older one will start acting up and feeling left out. When baby is napping you can have one on one time with the 2yr old. And if you're lucky you'll get them on the same nap schedule once baby's naps consolidate. My daughters still nap at the same time & that's when i get some things done and relax. It'll all work out. Just take it one day at a time.
