QUICK POST. Ladies what do we reckon, a 2 year old breaking their thumb? Would they non stop scream or? Charlie's just smashed his hand off the radiator running through the rooms. He's screaming/ crying, calms down for a minute, asks me to kiss it but the minute I even lightly touch it he screams again, goes silent for a minute on YouTube, then starts screaming again. Would you take him for an x-ray? Or would you assume if it was broken he wouldn't stop crying?
Harri broke his leg before he was two and he walked well hobbled in it before they even saw a break on X-ray x
Jesus! It's mad how they cope with these things! Everything online does say you can have full mobility etc with young children and breaks. I think I'll get him checked in the morning, tbf I hurt my thumb on holiday when I was 14, was in the sea and everything with it (was painful though) came home got it checked and it was broken x
@jo.wilcox that ended up breaking down my wrist because it was left, so I'll definitely get him checked as I don't want there to be complications if it is broken x
My little one broke his finger and he was the same. Screamed. Then calm for a min then scream again. I took him to a and e and it was broken. He had trapped it.
Could you touch/ move it without too much fuss? At first he wouldn't let me go near it, but eventually I was able to wiggle it with minimal hassle
@jo.wilcox, no. I couldn’t touch it at all. It was bleeding cause his nail was hanging off and trying to hold a compress on it was very difficult
@3kidsandkat @sara-lou86 @vixster @x-t-x Thanks everyone for your help! He calmed down about half an hour after this post, I finally manage to touch it and wiggle it a little. He seems okay, now tucked up in bed but will see how he gets on in the morning and take him up if needs be or if any swelling/ bruising develops. Ugh boys 🙄😞
Can he bend it alright? If he can’t bend it then maybe it is be broken. Whenever I hurt my fingers & thumbs as a kid my dad would always ask - can ya bend it? If yes then ya alright lol. Could just be badly bruised, maybe try putting a something cold to bring the bruise out and see how he is after a bit xx
It might just be badly bruised. If he's calming down at times maybe see how he goes. Can always go to walk in centre tomorrow instead of spending the night up a&e. Unless he seems in pain constantly, then I'd take him to a&e.
I wud say it cud be broken. Or maybe just badly bruised. When harri broke his leg he cried non stop for first couple of hours. Took him to hospital next day and it was broke as he wudnt put weight on it
What would you do with $25,000
If you received an extra $25,000. What would you do with it? ?
I was woken up last night by the most horrible scene I've ever seen. I heard a girl screaming/pleading someone to stop . I had my window open and saw this girl hanging on the front of a big truck , the guy driving the truck going back and forth , then he stopped right in front of my house and the girl came to his window and pleaded to him "PLEASE STOP" " I WONT DO IT AGAIN" he grabbed her by the neck and and pushed her on the street really hard , he said something but I couldn't hear since she w...
If you told your S/O to block another woman (because she wasn't getting the hint that he was taken) and then found out he unblocked her and is talking to her again, how would you feel?
if you were to deal with a baby who has an unexplained high pitch cry/scream that lasts for hours and happens almost every day would you take your baby to doctor to see if anything is really wrong?
