Tips or tricks for transitioning a 19 month old into toddler bed?! So if you saw my last post my daughter got both her legs really stuck in her crib rails to the point she had to be cut out. So we took the from rail off and added a toddler rail to keep her somewhat in and not falling out. Only problem is that I’m having trouble just putting her to bed. It used to be she would take a bottle and lay down and wave and kiss me goodnight when she was in her crib. We then only put water in her bottle/took it away. Then the crib incident happened and we haven’t found a solution to get her to just lay down like she used to. I have had to rock her to sleep and she will be sleeping and I go to put her down and she freaks out and holds on or freaks out when I put her down and starts crying and gets out of bed. So then she stays up a little longer or I just start the process of rocking her again. Idk what to do because I can’t do this every night because I have her brother to get to sleep too and I end up rocking her for forever some nights and he needs me too. Any suggestions I’m open to. Also tonight I let her watch Little Baby Bum for an hour between the second time rocking her and the third in which she finally was asleep enough for me to or her down. I just don’t want it to become a thing.
