This pregnancy has been so different the second time, not because of symptoms or anything, but because of my man. My son's dad constantly put me down over my weight gain, he was cheating on me, we had to live with his parents because I got put on bedrest and he was lazy and would only work part time. We had no money and his parents had to pay for everything which meant they were in control. I felt depressed and lonely and miserable. Eventually we got divorced after my son was born. A few years later I met my fiancé and we have been together now for 10 years. This pregnancy he has called me cute and beautiful, can hardly keep his hands off me, and has showered me with love and affection. He has come to doctors appointments, driven me all over for cravings, bought me just about anything I asked for the nursery, has rebuilt her entire room and supports my son and I since I got let go a month ago with no pressure of doing anything but making sure I take care of our house and our growing baby girl. I don't know what I did to deserve him, or how I got so lucky but I did. I can't wait to become a whole family with this little girl as a part of both of us living in the world. And to marry him hopefully in the fall of next year.
