In the last week I’ve had people tell me I needed to stop breastfeeding because my daughter is “too spoiled”. She’s with me 24/7. These same people never offer to watch her or even bother to visit.🙄 She is very clingy but idk what to do about it or if I should do something. She’ll grow out of it right? She’s 6months btw.
Yeah don’t listen to that. You’re not spoiling her. She needs you. Some babies are just more needy than others. You do what you feel is best for you and her. My daughter is the exact same way with me. 13 months old and still clingy with me but will ditch me to play with other kids.
Children are suppose to be with their family(mainly mommas). It's natural, when they get older natural curiosity will have them explore and be more comfortable with leaving you. :) Society just has built this weird thing of making kids grow up too quickly and separate from what should be normal for the sake of forced "independence".
Food spoils, babies feel loved and secure. She will grow to be independent, right now she needs her mama
She’s still really little and wants her momma for comfort. They are ridiculous. Breastfeed for as long as you want!
Even if you weren’t breastfeeding she’d more than likely be clingy with you. She’s still so little and you’re her whole world right now.
