How do y’all moms juggle a newborn, find time to sleep and work ? Me and hubby take turns sleeping but we go back to work in 4 weeks & were going to be working separate shifts , he will work mornings & I’d be working nights. I’m also breastfeeding so I can’t drink energy drinks ! Tips please. I don’t like to let my baby sleep while we both sleep due to the fact that she has reflux on her own spit and it’s silent. So one of us is ALWAYS watching her. #firsttimemom
@roses.are.red, No problem girl but you both have to get rest! You don’t want it to affect your work. Have her sleep inclined always! Or give her a paci at night or when shes sleeping it reduces the change of them choking and of sids. It will get better as she gets older she’sn maybe in a couple of weeks you cna try to set a night time routine so she starts sleeping through the night as wel
@nicolee____, she sleeps pretty good, it’s just me , I’m paranoid. I sleep with her in my arms inclined on a soft pillow and we both sleep good . I’m a light sleeper so it’s easy for me to wake up when she just moves a flinch 😴 i also tried to give her a pack but she doesn’t take it /;
I lost my mind lol it will get easier though
Just waiting it out that’s what I did
Its fucking difficult, but you’ll find a system to make it work. The first few months will be utterly exhausting though. Good luck!
Have her sleep in a rocker or something inclined so she doesn’t choke, I recommend the mamaroo! Its pricey but if you find a used one you can get it for 80 bucks. Have her sleep next to you if you are paranoid if you pump then have bottles ready so your husband can help you feed her at night when you guys go back to work ( the only way you both will get some sleep ) You’ll get to know your baby and it will become easier just hang in there 🥰
