My boyfriend’s mom OFFER to pay for something for him and now as we’re about to have a daughter trying to get things ready she wants payments back for what she OFFER to help my boyfriend with.. you can offer to pay for something and than ask for payments back if YOU offer. Omg she stresses me out like why now ask? Why why why we’re literally about to have our daughter and now you want money. 😒

My MIL has done this before 🤦♀️ she always says “let’s buy this for Atlas” or “you need this for your house” and when we get up to the checkout counter she splits everything in the buggy up and doesn’t buy what she suggested!!!! I’m like I don’t need help with ideas on how to spend money. I have plenty of those lady! I need help making these “suggestions” of hers come true because some are down right expensive and once my son sees the shit in the buggy and thinks he’s getting it it’d be kinda cruel to put it all back right in front of him 😤 so I go ahead and pay for the shit. Pisses me off and I’ve learned my lesson. Hate to say it girl but this should be a lesson learned. Pay her back and be done with it

LITERALLY what I told her we got into this big argument about it. I told my boyfriend to not ever accept anything from her again. Every time she calls or text I just get so stressed lol she’s toooooo much. 😩

My mil has don’t the same recently actually. We intended on borrowing 1400 for my daughters dental work and she and her boy friend loaned us the money and she said after the fact that they didn’t want us to pay them and just wanted my husband to paint his truck (my husband paints car for a living). Which was a good deal. If he would of taken it to a shop it would of been way more and then literally today she said how much did we loan you for her dental work I’m like I don’t even remember it was back in July and we had to put some towards it as well. And in September the tax board took my husbands whole check and we had hella bills due so she gave us some. And today she’s like don’t worry about that. Do I trust it? No! Just tell her not to buy any thing for baby if she’s going to be like that. It’s not fair. You should want to spoil your grandbaby not make it hard for you to want her around. I hope she gets better. It’s tough

I did tell her and she asked for it back so we gave it back. I told her money is slightly tight bc we have a little one coming and she said I’ll accept small payments. 😒
