Does anyone have tips on how to make my 4 year old listen? He refuses to stay in a room I tell him to when I’m cooking and he refuses to do any thing he is told then when I stick him in his room he screams non stop for my mother he can’t be doing that because I live in an apartment and they will call the cops I just can’t handle it anymore
can you sit him on a highchair and table and have him eat his favorite snack?
Are you able to maybe set him up with an activity close by? Then you can cook in peace but still can supervise. Coloring, playdough, puzzle, blocks, whatever will keep him busy!
I would baby proof and then give him free range. Or sometimes I'll let my own 4 year old help cook. If my daughter is in another room I'll put the baby monitor in there to hear her but other than that I've baby proofed enough that she can be alone in another room
@massgirl, it’s not being blunt it’s being rude good for you that you have a child that listens and don’t have 2 disabilities. Learn compassion or you will end up losing your job🤷🏽♀️
@mrs.dahlin I'm sorry that I offended you it honestly was never my intention. I have plenty of compassion which is why I educated myself and went to school for as long as I did. So I could help children...like my daughter who has a speech disability of her own.You should take a deep breath. I really hope you address these needs with his therapist instead of a bunch of strangers on the internet. They'll be able to help him so much better with his needs.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Give him two options of your choice let him choose so that way he thinks he's making a decision but its really you making them works every time
