I did my daughters the day she turned 4 months. Never had any problems. I took them out for a day a few months ago and they closed so I’m not going to do them again for a few more years.
If you do get them done, go to a tattoo shop as they are licensed to do the piercings and they are more sterile than any other place you can get them done. Also less trauma on her ears with a needle.

I got my daughters done when she was 5 months. Ask her pediatrician too, sometimes the doctors can pierce the ears for you. Mine used to!
