Why does my son fight being burped. During an After every feeding. During he'll cry and after he just wiggles around and stands up on my lap

Thank you ill try but I use gripe water I tried those drops didn't seem to work well for him
He could fight it simply because the trapped air is making him uncomfortable. Maybe try burping more often? We used to try it with my niece. It may be worth a shot.
I try over my shoulder and sometimes if I'm lucky he will burp
Sometimes my son use to be stubborn and didn’t want to burp so I would wait like 10/15 minutes and try again
But he's not sometimes its every feeding sense he was almost a month old he's 2 an a half now its so hard to burp him then complains about gas lol

Anyone planning to bring gifts for your nurses during/after delivery? If so, what are you giving them?
Will my nipples get used to the pump after a few times or will they always hurt and feel chapped during and after it?
