The same amount of time as if you had given birth vaginally...6 weeks. It doesn't matter if you had a c-section or not, the risk of infection is the same. Be careful mama!

I was no where near ready at 3 wks

Even with csection you have an OPEN wound where your placenta detached. It’s best to wait at LEAST 6 weeks

You have to wait at least 6 weeks and get the ok from your doctor . You can get an infection easily.

When your Dr clears you. Not before your 6 week check-up.
