Hi, I'm pregnant with my first and it's not going well for me. For baby it's been great, she's healthy developing great and very active. But I've been diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum and it's being controlled with antisickness tablets. The tablets make me sleep and my body is now starting to get used to them so they aren't working as well anymore. To make things worse, the doctor's have essentially quarantined me as my immune system is impossible weak and I'm contracting everyone's slightest infection. This then puts me in hospital because the vomiting gets worse and my stomach acid causes severe burns in my throat.
I don't feel normal, I can't leave my house and I'm barely functional. Yet the baby is doing fine.
I'm now constantly doubting how I'm going to get through the next few months. I'm not sure I can.
I really hope it gets better and you can enjoy it more, than just suffer. Sending you all my best wishes
Thank you. I keep being told by doctors that the sickness should start to ease off and my dependency on the antisickness will eventually stop. But so far it's not showing any signs of stopping. I'm willing to try anything at this point as it's reaching unbearable. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into it
But what are the prognosis? For me, the beginning was really tough, but then it got better after 3 months or so. I really hope it will get better. Many things are unexpected while being pregnant.
On the other side, is it possible to try out homeopathy or/and acupuncture? I didn't do myself while pregnant, but I was reading lots of positive reviews on acupuncture especially, and for different issues. Like, maybe you could try even for heartburn. Well, depends, but I guess I would try everything that doesn't hurt the baby..
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Rant
My SO has been rude a lot ever since I've gotten pregnant...he said he doesn't care about my pregnancy, he doesn't even take one day off from work just ONE to come to at least one ultra sound appointment. I mean he's always making sure I'm fed, he lets use the heating pad, and even apologized to saying he doesn't care. He can mess with me all day but when I want to join and play around he gives me an attitude. He just makes me feel like s*** at times. He's a great fiancé don't get me wro...
So about 3 weeks ago I had a miscarriage... I haven't posted about it as it's been a crappy few weeks and been getting my head around it all.. well today I've been having clear mucus when I wipe (tmi sorry). It's been happening the past few days, I've been tired, appetite has been up and down, bloated etc.. I know the right thing to do is take a test but how long after a miscarriage is it possible to be pregnant? I'm not sure whether it's just ovulation that could be happening.. I'm so confused😩
i'm getting my baby circumcised tomorrow & it makes me so sad. i want to do it but i don't want to see him hurting :( makes me cry every time i think about it
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
You will go through. No doubts. I think all of us had our own issues and fears during pregnancy. Some more some less. It's not easy process to start and carry the new life inside of you. But think why women were chosen for this. Yes. We can. And you can. Growing the baby is even more harder then pregnancy. So it's never easy. But once you will have your baby in your arms it all make sense😍. You almost made half the way to this! And it's also harder right before you close to your goal 😊
