This week has been the hardest week of my life! Ever since my 1 year old was born she’s always had an AMAZING sleep schedule. She would wake up once a night maybe two but it was rare. As she grew up she stopped waking up at all and would sleep her 9-10 hours straight. Well this week she’s been waking up 4 hours after her bedtime, crying and screaming. I rock her back to sleep but she’s like a ticking bomb, as soon as she feels me putting her on her crib she immediately wakes up crying. It’s taken me 3 hours every night to put her back to sleep and tonight has been so hard! I put her to sleep around 9pm woke up at 10p. She went back to sleep 30 minutes after and at 12:40a she woke up SCREAMING! I tried to put her back to sleep (since I’ve heard never to wake up a sleeping child) but the crying wouldn’t stop and I don’t mean normal crying it was the time of crying as if someone was torturing her. Obviously I just broke down crying😭😭 she’s never been like this before. It’s been so exhausting not only for me but also for her.
I’ve posted about my defiant toddler many times before but I’m really at a loss now. She deliberately disobeys. Like, she knows what “no” means and if she’s doing something she knows she’s not supposed to I can ask “do you want to go in timeout?” And she’ll answer “no” and SOMETIMES stop.. I can’t take her anywhere cause she refuses to listen. She runs wild, screams, throws tantrums etc. At home she’s just as bad and absolutely nothing I do or say helps. Timeout doesn’t work, hand poppings don’t work, a pop on the butt doesn’t work, I’ve tried getting down to her level and calmly explaining things or trying to make sure she knows that I understand her emotions and things like that but I’m not even kidding when I say nothing works with her. I’m constantly telling her no and even though she knows she’s going to get into trouble she will do it anyways and then cream this blood curdling scream when she does get in trouble. I’ve raided Pinterest for days, write everything down, tried everything I found... idk what else to do. Everyone keeps telling me it’s “terrible twos” or “she’s just strong willed” or that it’s normal for her age and all of that might be true but there’s gotta be some kind of something that will help me teach her to listen to me and such.
I posted the day before yesterday about my friend.. & well....... her fiancé came over, AND she came alone 😐 we eat sit around and after awhile my husband takes him to the back & the next thing I know he’s coming in the house with a weird look on his face, asking her if there was something he should know, I instantly gets up just in case someone turns into a maniac....... well long story short he cried & told her how disloyal she is & how disappointed he was.. she’s crying asking me why would I do that.. I’m like 🤷🏽 ♀ it wasn’t right........ Our other friends are saying that he’s giving her a hard time and that he sleeping on the couch, not eating her food and won’t talk to her.. she’s not talking to me (of course) & I now feel like we could have handled it in a different manner ... idk seeing a grown man cry like he did was just heart breaking!
am I a bad mom cause my two year old sleeps with me and tonight she sleeping in her bed and she crying now?!? I just can't take it no more she has to sleep in her bed there is no room for two babies and me being pregnant again!
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

Does she have colic or reflux, usually when they won’t stop crying despite all efforts it’s because their belly hurts. I do gas drops with my LO and he’s doing a lot better now he was crying a ton, he also cries if I don’t hold him while he sleeps so we bed share.

I breast feed sometimes give her a bottle with what I have pumped. No formulate at all. She has burped a couple of times so that might be it. But she has been this fuzzy for a couple days now

she can be gassy try either gas drops or gripe water and keep burping her my son was the same way I was breastfeeding and had to stop for personal reason and now he’s on special formula cause of food allergies

2 month old don't sleep great. That's their job. How often is she eating? If formula- how much? Any arching of her back? Red watery eyes? Where is she sleeping?
Karen··

She breastfeeds about every 2 to 3 hours. I actually haven’t noticed any arching or red watery eyes. She sleeps in a basinet
Lanie Jay··
sounds pretty normal then. Extra coffee and push through. It gets better

If you are breastfeeding you may need to change your diet and cut out dairy. What you are eating could be hurting her tummy. If you are formula feeding you may need to look for gentle formula or do soy formula. My son was like this too and he refused to latch so I went to formula and I swear I tried like 10 different formulas before he finally did ok with gentlease from infamil. I'm sorry you are going through this. I know what it's like. I had many breakdowns....maybe still having them, but it will be okay. Stay strong momma!

my son seemed to react negatively to my breast milk whenever I had green peppers or onions, so I had to cut those out. Also, when he took pumped bottles of breast milk, we would do a drop of mylicon gas drops or Mommy Bliss gripe water, and those seemed to help as well.

My son was this way for a bit until we tried mylicon drops, helped him a little bit but then realized he also has AR, so he is now on medicine for that. Does she spit up more than "normal", Make a face like she has a bad taste in her mouth??
