It was a good but sad day. If you have a milk surplus donate to your local NICU. My hospital donor milk location supplies 4 hospital NICUs in their network and have had to buy milk because they hadn't had donations in over 2 weeks!! All in their fridge was from me except a small ziploc of 100oz they had purchased.

That’s really great of you. How are you getting so much pumped?! I go back to work in 3 weeks so trying to build up a stash but I only get about 2 oz at a time. From the breast my daughter isn’t nursing on but still it will take me forever to get a good amount like that.

@kellynicole thank you, I didn't quite realize the intensity of the need before. My OB recommended I do it bevause they were in need but I just had no clue. @iuiblessing2018 I actually only pump once at night and get 5-6oz total. Otherwise i use a haakaa every time I feed him and it gives me the additional oz a day. I highly recommend the haakaa for sure. Also I use lactation cookies (I eat 3 or 4 a day) that I make from scratch with oats, brewers yeast, and flaxseed. Plus 62oz of water a day and 12oz of gatorade to get the electrolyte boost.
