If they truly want to change, I believe they can. If they are changing for someone else, then no. They have to want it!

Yes and no, that person has to themselves want to change.

In my opinion if they did it once and regret it and see it as a mistake they can change, if it’s a repeated thing they may not.

Depends..... is there mental health status changed?

Often times cheating is due to a personal mental health issue. If that is worked on and has changed, then they can stay in a long term relationship.

I believe some can. I cheated only after I found out i was cheated on . Just to prove two can do that game. I was 18 & 19 but I've changed now. In the other relationships when I got cheated on I just dropped them and moved on. Everyone is different though.

If the person feels guilty after doing it and really wants to try and be better then they can definitely change. We are human and the flesh is weak. Buuuut if the person continuously cheats, then there is a deeply rooted issue that needs to be resolved within that person because cheating is never about the other person. It's an internal insecurity.
