💃💃 Be happy with what you have, you can’t give something you can’t afford. Live within your means and remember you can’t buy happiness, family or friends 😘
This!! I have absolutely no issue with people spending what they want on their kids, if you spend £500 on your kid then good for you, I have no issue at all! But I just CANT STAND the bragging pics. That picture is literally what I think every year 😂 Purely for attention oh look at the 60 presents for my kid and people to say 'omg your kid is so lucky wow 😍' like please fuck off 🙄
I’m not saying you should feel guilty, or shouldn’t do it if you are in a position to, but remembering you shouldn’t feel inadequate for what you can provide is my point.
My daughters 8 months old and I’ve spent a fortune on Disney plush dolls for her. She probably won’t be too interested but I wanted to spoil my daughter. We aren’t flush by any means - My other half works his balls off for the money we do have.. so I don’t feel guilty for wanting to spend it on my kids at Christmas
I don’t see a problem with parents spoiling their children at Christmas if they can either, just because some people can’t afford to, or won’t get anything (god bless them) it doesn’t mean others shouldn’t enjoy that they can. I’m happy for anyone being able to do it 🥰
We re wrapped and re gave a present to my son a couple of years back. We bought it just before he was 2 and he wasn’t interested. So we re wrapped it and he got it the Christmas just before turning 3.
I completely agree. This really drives me crazy. It’s often the same people who pay their December or January’s nursery fees late as well (I’m a nursery owner and it drives me crazy). Live within your means. Your kids really don’t care. As long as you love them and make it special and magical that’s all that matters
I know what u mean about the braggers and some just spending bizzare money just to post and show off. but I love looking at people’s pictures and seeing what all the kids have gotten for Christmas xx
Preach!!! I've bought my 9 month old 5 toys from a charity shop purely because he couldn't give two **** about toys and I'm not about to waste money that we could use else where

Happy birthday to you❤️
I googled & it said you can’t drink while breastfeeding, I’m not meaning Hard liquor. I was saying maybe a little margarita or a glass of wine ..? You can’t drink Nothing Period ??

Couldn’t agree more! My daughter already has more than she needs so she’ll get maybe 5 presents of us which will come to about £150 max!!!! And I feel like that’s excessive anyway- never mind £700! Plus she’ll get things from family too! X
