How did you deal with gender disappointment? I know every baby is a blessing and I am grateful for this pregnancy and I know there's a small chance this baby could still be a girl but I feel like most likely when we go to get the gender confirmed it will still say boy. I feel awful for feeling this way but I just can't get excited anymore and trying to look at boy stuff just makes me cry. It's so hard and I know I really hyped myself up for the life I pictured, planned in my head and now won't get to have with the little girl I desperately wanted. I just always pictured myself with a boy and a girl. To have a mini me to share all the fun girly things with and get all the cute outfits for. It just kills me that I won't get to do any of it now. I'm just mourning all the girl stuff I had planned and had to delete.

I am dealing with basically the same thing, I have 2 girls and wanted a boy so bad, did genetic test and it’s another girl. I tell people I’m fine but I’m still upset/disappointed. I know I’ll love my child no matter what but still.

Exactly how I feel it's really hard. I try to put on a happier face and try to talk about it but I just get depressed when people say "you and all the boys" it's just heart breaking right now for me. I literally live with all boys right now and I needed another girl in my corner.

I know how you feel. My poor husband is outnumbered even with the animals. We had only a boy name picked. I was shopping for boy cloths. Gave all my girl stuff away. I was 100% sure. The best thing we can do is try and see the best side I guess

Omg this was me literally had all girl things saved on Amazon and Pinterest. Because all the signs were pointing to a girl and I was so sure it was a girl only to be crushed at our gender reveal when the lights that were left on were blue.

I was upset for a long time because I really wanted a girl but I had a boy. Obviously I Love him and so does his dad but we were extremely upset about it for a while...

Yeah gender disappointment is so real. Maybe this time you guys can get your girl. I just don't know how-to even get excited all the boy things are the same and I've already done it with my first son.

yeah I have a feeling I’ll have another boy which I’ll be upset again but already having Noah I can already see the good things and Noah has an older brother and it’s so awesome watching them be together. When he’s with his sister it’s so different because she’s 6 and he’s 1 so he’s kind of just annoying to her lol

I went through this too! I wanted all boys because it's all I knew and when I found out I was having a girl I was sad at first but then I warmed up to it.. Now I wouldn't have things any other way ❤

You got the best of both worlds now. I have one more chance for a girl in the future but I'm terrified of it being a 3rd boy and not ever getting the chance to have a little girl.

Well I tell you what I had my 2 boys close together, and just had my daughter. It wasn't too exciting when I found out it was a boy. My second time around, but it really was a true blessing to see the boys play together and share snacks and nap together. Now after having to learn to be patient, Esther was born 12/5/18 and I wouldn't trade my boys being her brother for the world. It's a gift, cherish the moments you have now, and be patient you might end up falling in love a whole nother time 💙💙❤️

My husband keeps saying if its for sure another boy our son will have a best friend and we will have another chance for a girl in a few years but I don't know if I could handle another boy. I'm hoping my emotions change and I can get a little more excited about it by the end.

I was upset when I find out my son was a boy, and my husband was happy. Because, he got his boy that he always wanted. I wanted a girl, because my sister already have a boy. I am blessed and thankful to have my son in my life, and I wouldn’t imagine my life without him. Time will passed by and you will love him like you do with your another little boy.

I can understand that I know this happens alot. I seriously thought I was having another boy and that's it but when I cut my gender cake and it was pink I nearly fainted. I'm sure by the time comes and you hold your baby it will all change but it's ok to feel what you feel ❤

It goes away! Trust me, I had myself convinced this baby was a girl. And then they said boy at my ultrasound I couldn’t help but feel sad I wasn’t getting my girl. But, then I started Pinteresting his nursery, buying special pacifiers for him, and I fell in love with the thought of having a baby boy all over again as I did with my first son!

I think it took me like a week. I always wanted a boy first, for so long. I'm not a person to linger on too much of anything so I found a name in that week and started instantly just thinking of the possibilities. The possibilities really opened my eyes to acceptance and things to come. People can say healthy baby etc etc but it's hard when you really hoped and even had plans. It just takes time and connecting at your own pace not how you think others want you to. Also I randomly experienced it with my second pregnancy, I thought I wanted a boy but somewhere I felt sad that it wasn't a girl for some time but over time before arrival I got over it. Looking towards the possibilities and things to come can be helpful and exciting.

It took me months to get over the disappointment but I also had an unplanned pregnancy. I was on birth control and it took me a month to get over the initial shock of being pregnant, then at 12 weeks I found out it was a boy. I swore the only thing that would make it any better was him being a girl. I didnt buy a thing for him or even get excited until about 30 weeks along. I know in my heart I'm not done having kids because I want my little girl still but my baby boy is the most amazing thing. We have such an incredible bond it breaks my heart that it took me 7 months to accept him.
