Do not put baby on a feeding schedule. Feed on demand. Especially within the first few weeks as that is a big determinate of your supply. Keep baby to the boob and if you co sleep, do it safely 😊
Nursing isn’t supposed to hurt. Yes your nipples will be sensitive but it shouldn’t hurt. Research feeding positions if you want and if your nipples get cracked or sore just expressing some milk on your nipples and letting it air dry will help heal them. Feel free to Message me if you have any questions or need support.
Make sure you have a good support system. Make sure you have cream for your nippes at the hospital. Day 2 is the hardest day. Don't forget to ask for help. Use the LC at the hospital as much as possible. LaLecheLegue is an amazing resource check if you have a local group they can be an amazing help. Most importantly don't let anyone make you feel bad about feeding.
