BIRTH CONTROL:
So I need to do some research on which birth control I wanna go on. Hubs and I want our little boy to be our only one. So with that being said which birth control method do y’all prefer and why?!
Dr don’t want me to go on the pill bc of the risk bc I’m overweight, seem to be getting blood pressure problems, and such
I need to read the side effects I only know two people that went on it and hated it
@fishinamanda no dont do the arm implant. I was on it for 2 months before long time ago and i had to get it out.. I hated it.. Crazy with emotions and more.. Just made me sad all the time and the periods where heavy.....i was really depress on it.
Ive been on almost different types of bc.. For ex the pill. Which i got pregnant on only cause i didnt take it for my first pregnancy.. After that i tried a series of bc which end up with me gaining weight. For instance The patch..and the nuvar ring was nice but it gave me headaches. And uncontrollable bleeding. Same like the shot. I wont do the shot.. Iud like skyla it was to painful to insert the damn thing..
I myself is trying to figure out what to go on after this baby cause im not planning to have any more kids any time soon...
But every women is different. I would talk to your obgyn and have them discuss what bc is better for you.
The IUD can be so unsafe and it's not guaranteed to prevent pregnancy. If it dislodges itself then it can cause major problems like organ failure and what not. Also if you end up pregnant on an IUD, it's dangerous and can possibly cause fetal death or infertility. If you are only wanting on child and no more and you are sure about it. Why not one of you or both of you get fixed?
@fishinamanda yeah but it's not a major surgery it's an outpatient surgery for a man and a woman might only stay in a hospital for a day. The risks of the IUD are much scarier
I have the iud. I don’t get periods but my SO feels it and it has cut him.. I’m getting it out because of it..
So really what works for some people might not work for others. I know two women who got pregnant with an IUD, one with the nuvaring and so on.
I use the mini pill and have used it in the past. I like knowing that I’m in charge of it, if that makes sense, but it doesn’t make my hormones go crazy either.
@fishinamanda, I went with the mini pill because I was breast feeding at the time. I legit just spot into between periods sometimes. It’s not horrible, but if taken correctly is great!
@littleonemorning, I’ve never heard of the mini pill. Is it less risk then normal bc pill
@fishinamanda, well less side effects. I’m on the Camilla. You can google it! It is one that you have to take at the same time everyday, so alarms are your friend, but I’ve never had a issue.
That seems scary having to take it out and put it in what happens when I can’t find it or I put it in wrong
I'm on a 4 year IUD called Liletta. It has hormones and hopefully will kick my periods ass. I don't even know any good things about it other than it stops pregnancy for years not day or months.
Anyone doing birth control after having baby? If so which option of birth control are you going with? I have not used birth control in over 15 years. Not sure what I want to go with.
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
So how do you Ladies feel about birth control. I'm against it cause I want my body to do what it naturally does. I've faced infertility issues so I'm not for it but my mom feels I should be on it after I have Tyson.
What birth controls have worked flawlessly for you?... I don't want anymore kids after my daughter but I don't want to tie my tubes and I am not going to become a born again virgin so I want your best recommendations ladies! Thanks in advance :)
Birth control recommendations!? NOT THE DEPO SHOT. Doctor brought up birth control options at my last appointment but I just don't know which one!
On dec 17 i to obgyn about tubes removal
