Are there any moms here that have experienced preeclampsia? Ive been trying to asses my symptoms and idk. I’m calling my doctor first thing in the morning for a check up regardless but I just wanna hear from some moms if that’s cool.

Same symptoms as everyone else pre and post! I was 36+4 weeks and sent straight to L & D because my levels were so high
I did. The symptoms I had were elevated protein levels in my urine, high blood pressure, and swelling.
My feet started to swell around 28 weeks. My doc told me it was normal. Nothing I did made them go down. They were swollen 24/7 and then at my 37 week check up she said my blood pressure was extremely high (it was always perfect) and there was a lot of protein in my urine. They diagnosed me with preeclampsia. She then scheduled me to be induced. So I’d say severe swelling, sudden high blood pressure, protein in urine, and I think severe itching. Sometimes women don’t get the itching or swelling. But I’d go in and have them check your blood pressure and urine.
I’m swelling but nothing crazy but it’s very uncomfortable and itchy. I get flashes of headaches they don’t last long.
@ftm_0223, at my last appointment my bp was a little elevated but I’m an anxious person so we didn’t worry about it. And now I’m swelling in my hands and feet I can’t wear my rings. My feet feel numb sometimes if it’s not crazy swollen.
@chasinghappiness, yeah during my appointments they just figured I was anxious...turned out I had preclamsia. Just continue monitoring it , check your BP at the Walmart/Walgreens blood pressure booths if they have them, or you can order a blood pressure cuff , just to be in the know & monitor.
