I’m Starting To Get Overwhelmed Because Of How Uncomfortable My Baby Is She’s Been Having Really Bad Gas Since She’s Been Home. She’s Been Vomiting & Passing Gas Like Crazy I Don’t Know If It’s Safe To Give Her Gripe Water Or What I Should Do About This Until The Morning When I Can Call Her Dr. . . Oh & Her Umbilical Cord Fell Off & She’s Only 7Days Old. Is That Fine?
@goingbacktobed yes, the bicycle moves help! I too gave my little one some gripe water time to time when nothing else would work!
My baby was gassy too I breastfeed as well I had to cut down on dairy , and beans that helped,,,, another thing that worked for me is I would sit him on my lap and I'll move him around in circles and forward and backwards very gentle,, idk if that made sense
Her umbilical cord falling off is normal and ok as long as there is no signs of infection ( they usually fall off between 1-2 weeks if I remember correctly) and try doing bicycle kicks with her, giving her a warm bath, rubbing her belly, burping her again or even tummy time ( you having her lay on your chest, I heard is also considered tummy time, or even laying her across your legs while you pat her back) my son was gassy more than my oldest and these things seemed to help. Dont forget to breathe and remember you're doing great. You got this mama:)
Thank You So Much I Appreciate Your Kind Word Cause I Starting To Feel Bad. . . I Tried Bicycle Kicks, Rubbing Her Belly, Burping Her . . . It Just Kills Me Hearing The Gas In Her Stomach & Everything I’m Doing Isn’t Helping
@nisham90 no problem, I also agree with goingbacktobed, I gave my son some gas drops too even though he was a little young about the same age as your lo, and he was just so uncomfortable I hate hearing my babies cry in pain so if you want to administer a little to her I'm sure she'll be fine or you can even call your local nurse hotline if you feel really uncomfortable about it and ask them about the appropriate does size or recommended. But you're doing awesome and being a new mommy is tough, but just remember you're always doing the best for your baby and that makes you the best 😊
If she is forcefully spitting up or spitting up a lot constantly. Then yes ask your doctor. Hope all is healthy :)
