This may be a stupid question but, how do you know if your water is leaking? I was induced with my boys so not sure. I went to Aldi and lifted a heavy bag into my car and got a warm gush but I'm not sure if my water is leaking, I pissed myself, or just discharge. I don't want to panic and call Dr for peeing myself lol.

I leaked with my daughter if I moved around it would trickle out and I thought I was peeing myself😂 I went in to be check and it was my water I had her 18 hours later.
@catfish2220 I was going to but the pain and discharge stopped.

@mamakiki3 idk what I'm doing. I don't want to chance anything but I feel like I'll just get sent home and I've been having contractions even before.
@nbentley88 I totally understand that completely! I hate going if I feel like they're going to send me home... Maybe just wait and see if things don't get better or they become more intense ?

Does it have a smell? If it's odorless u may be leaking fluid and it's best to get checked out.
It's dark brown and red in my underwear and then when I go to bathroom. I called and they said could be from her checking me or a ruptured membrane. I keep getting tightness in my stomach and pressure but I have been for weeks.
Its different for every woman. I didnt feel mine pop, but i felt like i couldnt stop peeing. But some women have a very small leak to where is only trinkles in certain positions or with certain movements. If you think your water might be leaking, go get checked, because if it is your water they will go ahead and induce you because once your water is broke you and baby are at risk of infection
Okay so I just looked and it's a lot of brown/red discharge, maybe it was just from her checking me?....they told me to go in just incase it's a ruptured membrane 😣
I never heard anything pop. I just soaked through my underwear and sweatpants. I changed and started doing things around the house and wasn’t leaking anymore. The amount of liquid I had I thought I need to get this checked. It ended up being my water. The only way to know is to get swabbed. Then baby has to come out in 24 hours or risk infection for the both of you.
Put a pad on and lie down Realx if it fills up it’s prob your water
And it also doesn't stop like it just keeps trickling down like little by little
With mine I heard and felt a pop but maybe put a pad on and see how much it soaks up within the hour and not sure if this goes for everybody but with mine and a few other women that I know of their water smell almost like a sweet smell almost like an almond milk or something
Lol it felt like I peed my pants when my water broke
I experienced that when they broke my water at hospital but I not sure about leaking. When they broke it I felt like I sat in bath water lol
going to L&D to make sure this is just urine leaking and not my water leaking. ugh. prayers please.

23 weeks and my water has began to leak.

Ashlynn vicki-jean born May 1,2016 at 10:40am. 6lbs 3oz and 18 in long!! She is so perfect. I had been leaking water since about 6:15am! Called my mom and she said it was my water breaking. I thought I peed myself. My sister brought me to the hospital and sure enough my waters broke. They prepped me for my C-section and she is finally here! I'm so in love. She looks just like her sister!
I think my water broke guys ... its not like gushing out but its slow leaking
