Okay . My son has been dragging his chest strap down for the last two days . Has anyone else had this issue ? He’s literally so strong . How can i stop it or fix it or something? . I literally had to pull over 3 times in a 25 min car ride to fix it
If he can do that at this age i would tell
You buy a new one cause it must be cheap not to
Sound rude but way to young to do that and soo not safe after the first time i would of bought a new one!!
I spent 169$ on it lol. It’s not a cheap one . We looked at reviews and such. He did it in his graco one in my MIL car the other day too
Button a shirt over his straps and chest clip that way he can’t move I
@ladyfreyja, pretty sure those belt stoppers weren’t meant for car seats. Meaning not safe 🤷🏻♀️
@anap1012 I just don't see how a tiny button the size of a dime could get in the way of a car accident. They were made for car belts, and they are on ever seat belt in every car. And the stuff they sell on that site are after market products so I don't even know why they are selling stuff 🤷
@ladyfreyja, if you’re not supposed to even clip a pacifier clip on the seat belt then you’re definitely not supposed to alter the strap in any way or form. Why? Because the car seat has not been tested with it. After market products are NOT safe but they are still sold just to make a profit. I was gifted a neck pillow to use on an infant in a car seat. Obviously that’s not safe but it’s still sold. Companies don’t care.
Also they sell some after market gadgets but I would not mess with them. Definitely not safe
My child was in his car seat the right way, everything was right but he is definitely a true Houdini. I even called the company and told them this was happening and they sent me a new clip which was pointless. You will have to reposition the button as he grows as well.
Wow your 7 month old is doing this? Lol. My son started doing it when he was about 2 years old. My husband got those buttons stops that go through seat belts to stop him from doing it. And it has worked but now they broke so we have to get them again because he still does it.
@laniejay we spent almost 300 on the car seat. So I don't what I would do if they told me we can't use them.
@ladyfreyja they are so small I don't even think they would interfere with an accident
@ladyfreyja, you’re not even supposed to clip a pacifier to the straps. Like I said- just my thoughts I’d check in. You could always order new straps from the manufacturer if they say it’s unsafe.
Your 7 month old? Or do you have another?
Typically they’re able to because of an improper fit. If you post a pic here or in the car seat safety chat someone could trouble shoot. If they’re one of the true Houdini’s- car seats for the littles on FB has some tips
@briannalynn547, this isn’t the article I was looking for, but this test:

@laniejay, yess . Especially since he’s been growing lately . We just adjusted it
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Has any mom on here had to put their baby on a helmet to fix their head?
Has anyone in here had or know someone whos had a 'cheap' wedding?
I want to get married, but i dont to be spending £5000+ which is what im getting told it costs.. i dont care about a 'fancy' day and there will literally be about 60 guests if that..
