Has anyone taken a full bath after giving birth vaginally? Wondering if its safe... tired of showers

I did and with Epsom salt I feel it helped so much! My midwife said it's fine and Epsom salt was fine too

Yes it helps with the healing! My doctor recommended it with both pregnancies.

I did right away with my first cause I tore and couldn't stop bleeding and had so much pain in my butt, lol

I didn't do it right away, only waited a few days though.

I was told wait the full 6 weeks before baths. Even after my miscarriage also was told by er to wait 6 weeks

My nurses told me it was fine to do it right away and that it was actually beneficial for healing. Definitely talk to your doctor.

I never had time to lol but I don’t think it’s recommended same as going in a pool

Mine told me 6w.

My Dr. recommends sitz baths. I took them after both vaginal births.

It's not recommended until at least 4 weeks.
