It “can” be a sign of Keto Acidosis and Diabetes, but not always.
All of my kids have had it at some point and none of them have the above listed causes. Our son with special needs is now 4 and has had it on and off since about 4 months, and they’ve never found any cause. It’s worth getting checked BUT doesn’t always mean the worst ❤️

I’m hoping it’s just from being sick and throwing up so much paired with pedialyte? 🤞 if it’s not better by tomorrow I’m taking him in.

@trishanickerson, Can also happen when infants and children are dehydrated. Good luck momma hope he’s feeling better soon!

@beakymcspence, he is 100% dehydrated but has been drinking more today and has even eaten a bit so that’s a major improvement. The throwing up has subsided so hoping he feels better. Thanks for your responses. :)
