How much breastmilk do you recommend holding onto and keeping in the freezer? I am donating to the nicu and just not sure how much to keep and how much to donate? I have over 1000oz! I have pumped once at night plus used my haakaa for each feeding for nearly 6 weeks.

First of all, that is amazing! I've never breastfed so I don't have any personal advice to give but I just wanted to say you should be hella proud of yourself!
I would maybe do some math on how much your baby eats, and decide how long you would like to continue to breastfeed. Save yourself some for when you're ready to take baby off the boob and go from there.

Right now he is ebf except for 1 3oz bottle at night. But idk how long that will last either and want to make sure he can receive as much as possible. And we would like to conceive #2 soon and know that can also influence the breast milk supply. So just confused about it all and as bit stuck.

They would take all of it if they could. It is a network of 4 hospitals in my city and they have little to no milk in each location. But i dont want to give it all away and be upset my son then doesnt have any.
