My husband competes in men’s physique and body building competitions and it’s a regular occurrence for women to make comments...like:

“Omg is that your husband he’s amazing looking”.

Although it’s flattering it really depends who it’s coming from and how they are saying it and in what context.

I never take offence to it, but if it’s a friend or they’re being weird about it of course it can be awkward or uncomfortable. I’d feel uncomfortable if it was a friend or my sister ogling over my husband, because I’d never do that to someone else.

Nope. Some can take it too far possibly out of jealousy I suppose but a compliment is a compliment and it only goes wrong if she’s insecure.

No. I know he's good looking, and ironically, he feels insecure over his looks. I'm not worried over someone complimenting him. A compliment is as far as it ever goes, I know it and he knows it.
