ppl keep asking me if my son is walking yet bc he’s 10 months and “he should be walking or trying to walk already” .. NO my son isn’t walking 😒 nor does he even want to stand. my child & your child are not the same. they all develop differently. my son isn’t walking but he’s also able to say 5 words now so i guess thats what he’s focusing on🤷🏼♀️😂🧠
that’s what i say, every baby is different. some develop quicker than others! if anything i’m happy my son doesn’t walk just yet because i need to move into a bigger house first before he’s running around like crazy😂
yassssssss. girl my daughter isn’t even crawling yet 😂 I hate people
see exactly every baby is different! some babies do things quicker, later, out of order, or even skips things! Karter crawled before he even sat up!! it’s just so annoying ppl keep asking me like noooo lol that’s okay though bc i know he will eventually
Right! My daughter is almost 9 months old, and she will stand, but she doesn’t crawl, and she isn’t ready to walk anytime soon. They all grow different and I hate people that think their child is the same.
exactly!!! my son crawled before he could even sit up. i thought he would never learn to sit up!! babies do things at their own pace!
It doesn’t seem very common in my opinion for babies to be full blown walking by the time they’re 10 months old.. my daughter just got the hang of it a little less than two weeks before her first birthday. She would pull herself up and walk along the couches at 9 months, but those first steps alone were definitely after she was 11 months. Ignore anyone saying he should be walking already, every baby is different. It sounds like he’s doing what any typical 10 month old is doing. He’ll walk when he’s ready... and that’s when the real fun begins lol
that’s what bothers me.. he’s only 10 months & doing things pretty normally. every baby in my family didn’t start walking until they were 12 months or a little over so what he’s doing is totally normal. it’s just the ppl whose babies started walking at 9/10 months who ask but my son isn’t anywhere near ready yet and that’s okay!!
My son is JUST now starting to walk and he turned 2 October 8th.
My oldest son started walking at 16 months and youngest at a yr old.
Your son will walk when he’s ready.
my son just took his 1st steps today & hes 1 year & 2 months old💕 every baby develops at their own pace😊
People make me sick 🙄🤦🏻♀️ My son didn’t start to roll over until he was 7 months then at 8.5 that’s when he started to stand up holding onto things then at 9.5 he would start walking holding onto things and that’s what he still does now. Sometimes he’ll let go for a few seconds and before he falls he’ll hold onto whatever he was holding onto first. He just turned a year on Friday and people expect him to be walking on his own. At least he says don’t know, mama, papa, nana (Mariana which is his baby sister), no, si (yes in Spanish) like what can your child say? 🙃🤔🙄
exactly! every baby grows & develops at their own pace & it drives me crazy when ppl act like my son is slowly developing😒 but he can say mama, dada, night night, baba (bottle), and heyyyyy😂
They sure do!! Same as it was with us when we were babies we grew at our own pace so just because this is 2018 doesn’t mean that they all grow at the same time as yours does.
Your welcome. Don’t let anyone talk crap. All kids do their own thing. If it’s past 18 months then that’s when to get concerned
Ugh i hate when ppl do that. My in laws are constantly saying my baby is lazy bc she isnt walking alone yet. She "cruises" while holding onto furniture and it makes my blood boil.
right?! so let her be “lazy”. you don’t wanna force her to do anything! she’s developing at her own pace! she’ll get there soon she’s only 13 months!
@kartersmommyy Thank you!!! Idk why people like to make it their business its not like our kids will never walk and i dont want to force my baby to do anything. She needs to learn at her own pace. Everything is a learning experience for babies i hate when people try to rush them
They are dumb! 10 months is still young!! Like I said my son was 16 month he was just scared to let go, he would cruise the couches and use his push walker constantly and he’s 100 % healthy and hitting every milestone
that’s how my son is! he can pull up & walk along things, he’s just not comfortable yet! but thank you, that makes me feel better!💙
Tell them to shut up!! My oldest was walking by 11 months and my youngest started walking unassisted right at 16 months. Drs aren’t concerned they should be walking on their own by 18 months
it just aggravates me, talking like my son is “developing slow” because he isn’t walking. he just doesn’t have an interest in it right now, he’s more comfortable crawling. i know he’s close, he’ll be walking at 12 months or a little after, just makes me mad ppl want to compare! every child is different & develops at their own pace which is okay!
I can’t stand when ppl try to compare babies
