Does anyone know what else works for a bad diaper rash ?? Idk why my baby is pooping so much but she poops at least 3-4 times after each feed & its making her rash worst. I dab when i clean her instead of wiping to avoid from irritating it & ive even tried changing the kind of formula twice. The poop is not even alot its probably like 2 or 3 little wet drops on the diaper but i feel so bad because i know that it hurts her. & ive triedd all these products !!
Butt paste, corn starch, but my all time favorite is DoTerra diaper rash cream. It’s expensive but worth it
My mil does a mix of butt paste either red or yellow & desitin. It works on my nephew. I don’t use it cause I don’t feel like mixing them lol. But I swear by butt paste, try the max strength.
my pediatrician just saw me for a bad rash for my daughter and they said to let them air out with the red butt paste with either vaseline or a&d ointment on top of the paste and it worked girl!
Im definitely going to try that, i have the yellow butt paste but im gonna go buy the red one tommorow. Thankss hunb
@therealbrie I'm new to this whole mom thing so I freaked out and made them see me cause nothing was working and thats what they told me so I'm like uhm ok I'll try it and it worked I hope it works for you dear!
Go buy some yeast infection cream use it as diaper cream if it goes away then it’s def yeast hun
Yeaa i had a monistat kit in my cabinet & it had miconazole cream, i washed her up with warm water, let her air dry for about 20 mins & now i put the yeast infection cream on. Im praying it works. Thankss hunn
Healing Elements Balm, sold by Lemongrass Spa. I swear by the stuff! I've been using it for 2 years and it's wonderful!
@therealbrie
Yeah it's most likely a yeast rash then not just a diaper rash. Especially if it has white dots and has been that long.
@nerdymommyplus2, i am very desperate, i hate seeing her this way. I also read online that miconazole cream helps as well, thats the cream that comes in the vagistat yeast infection kit
Idk . Haven't heard that just the "athletes foot cream" all over mom apps. If baby was older I'd suggest a probiotic.
My daughter had that issue around that age too! The pediatrician said that Baby Aquaphor usually works the best. So we let her air dry after diaper changes and once she was completely dry we'd cover her in Aquaphor. It worked well for my daughter. I think what didn't work for her was when we kept switching products because it didn't allow one to fully work. Also, letting her soak in a bath seemed to help as well as long as we let her air dry afterwards. Could it also maybe be the diaper? In our case it wasn't but sometimes it is.
Ive been using the pampers brand but i also have huggies & luvs, maybe i'll try to switch the diaper and see if theres a difference
I use the Triple Paste Diaper Ointment for my daughter. Any signs of redness i apply some on her and it usually goes away. We also constantly change her diaper so she isnt soaking in wet/poopy diaper.
Try an oatmeal bath & then letting her bottom air dry then use one of those ointments. Oatmeal baths always helped my babies.
@therealbrie burnt flour, you just put flour in a skillet and brown it. And that monkey cream in the medicine department at walmart.
