Yeah I cloth diaper and love it. We have 12 but a lot of people opt for a stash of about 24 so they’re not having to wash them every day like me. The biggest con is that it can be complicated to get it to really work for you, but once you get into your groove it’s not bad at all. Your wash routine is definitely the most important part. If you can get that down you can make just about any diaper work for you. I use pocket style diapers which are super simple and you can find cheap ones on Amazon that are super cute. A lot of daycares don’t like to deal with cloth diapers (probably because they think they’re all pins and rubber pants still) but even if you just cloth at home you’d save money. I can definitely help if you have more questions I’ve researched this all so much I dream about it sometimes 😅

I bought about 30 nappies, inserts were included off of eBay for $30. The hospital gave me tons of old school foldable inserts. Pros so far: cost, significantly cheaper than disposables. Middle of the road: laundering could be a hassle. Be prepared for extra duty 😋 Cons: 1. (I actually interviewed daycare centers) they prefer disposable. Most are unwilling to accept cloth diapers. Let alone assist with emptying them and placing them in the wet bag. 2. Sizing the nappies down to newborn size is difficult for “me” I just place him in the foldable insert since we are new to this. Overall I love the idea and don’t mind washing them by hand (with Zote soap, helps keep them white and stain free)

I'm using them for my newest addition as well! Its expensive start out but saves so much! I think I might even switch my one year old to them!

I recently started cloth. We have 24. I have had no leaks, no issues, washing is not bad. So far, no cons!

I got 6 from my baby shower and I read that they come in handy when you don't want to use your diapers at home. So only have one pair of clothes diapers and a few disposable diapers when you are out and use the rest of the cloth diapers at home. I have not heared any cons about them yet.

I love the thought that i never run out of diapers, they are cute, natural. But i hated to wash them, i never threw them straight into the pile i had to pre wash them. I’ve used them with my boy since maybe 2 months, and with my girl. Im still debating whether i want to use them with next baby...
