Everything and yet it's all a blessing. It changes from day to day. What you think is hard today will make you laugh tomorrow and the easy things of yesterday may wear you down today. As the days pass what ones expectation of difficult was is constantly transforming. For me the hardest part is watching them grow so fast and knowing in the blink of an eye I will be releasing them into the world to fend for themselves, praying I have done a good job by the time that day arrives. Fighting my worries is the hardest for me. Best wishes.
You are now the person that has “all the answers”. You have to make decisions that will be life changing for your children. Obviously a lot of things are natural choices, but you will hit a time when it’s not clear what is the best choice for your little one and even professionals may not have a clear answer as well.
Put it like this... you wonder everyday if the baby is alright inside of you? Well you still wonder if the baby is alright outside you. From the moment you find out you are pregnant, everything becomes different. Maybe not hard, but just different. So yea, that’s probably the hardest part.
Worrying about them hurting themselves or someone hurting them. Them feeling emotional and physical pain. Them growing up and not being able to love themselves..of losing her...wow depressing. They are their own people. They have a right to feel and make mistakes as part of life. I can do the best I can to teach her some good but she will make her own choices and things will happen beyond our control. She is loved and I always hope she can feel that and feels that she deserves that.
Newborn for me was the easy part! But he also was a very very good baby! The last 2 months have been the hardest, teething is no joke in this house. He also gets frustrated very fast because he always wanted to do things he couldn't. He would get mad that he couldn't crawl, now he gets mad that he can't walk 😅 it makes it hard sometimes. Because he will try and stand to walk, fall on his bum and have a melt down because he just wants to go
The hardest thing for me taking care of a newborn is the lack of sleep. It's happened with both kids.
For being a new mom, I'd also add making time for myself. I would jump at the slightest sound and put myself on the back burner for a while. Once we got into a routine, and I understood DD1's personality better things balanced out a bit, but I've never really gotten it back to where it ought to be. I still have no hobbies or real "me time," and don't expect to until DD2 is a little older.

Juggling so many responsibilities and being tempted to constantly put yourself last. Make time for you because you can't pour from an empty cup.

I agree with the lack of sleep. Also, not knowing what’s wrong with them sometimes. Just trying to figure your baby out what his/her needs are.

You have this problem for a while, but with 4 kids, I can’t handle the noise. They are so loud and it triggers my anxiety so bad
