By posting in a public forum, you open yourself up to others opinions. In an unrelated topic, I find it interesting that formal education seems to be the only kind that is valued. There are several topics that I consider myself well-informed about that I never learned in school.

One thing that’s quite apparent on this app is that some people genuinely don’t know things. I didn’t see anyone attack you, just advise you.

They don't know it all. But they are well informed about that particular topic. Of course you can do what you want with your body. I'm sure they were just trying to help you understand the possible consequences of that choice.
