QUESTION.... My little one is 13 months and she’s been drinking out of a sippy cup for about 3-4 months..... every night in the middle of the night she wakes up crying wanting her cup.... how “normal” is this? Should I be trying to break her out of it? Do all babies do this ?
How did you all wean your child off the bottle? My daughter won’t drink her milk out of a sippy cup for nothing...but will drink her juice out of one..

How do you discipline an 11 month old? Shes been so bad lately and if you tell her no she doesn't listen.
Birthday Selfie ? Celebrating the big 27! First night out in 5 months and the first night dd is staying with her aunt. I feel guilty leaving her but I'm ready to have fun!
Any one else almost 2 month old doesn't fully feed at night. Passes out after half of what they normally take? My son has been doing it for the past two nights.. 😔

Completely normal. Just like if you get up in the middle of the night for something to drink she is doing the same. I always gave my kids their cups at night in case they were thirsty. ☺️

@raisingaleyaandethan, yea but I don’t get up in the middle of the night EVERY night. I always give her her cup before she goes to sleep and she still wants in the middle of the night

It's normal to get up for a drink in the middle of the night. Maybe not for everyone. Me and both my kids have our routine of filling up our water bottles and sippy cups before bed.

Fill her sippy with water and put it in the crib so that when she wakes up in the middle of the night, she has her drink there already.

@messiah-mommy, that’s most likely her comfort in the middle of the night. Whether you know it or not, everybody wakes at least once but we know how to put ourselves back to sleep. It’s a learned habit. My 15 month old wakes at least 1-4 times a night still to rock to sleep because it’s his comfort. My 4 year old wakes at least once a night to drink her cup
