I have a cousin named April Elizabeth and her daughter is named August May. 😄 They have never had issues with being bullied or teased. I think it's very pretty and has a nice meaning behind it. At least she won't have the same name as 12 other kids in her class. If someone really wants to bully your kid they will do it regardless of her name being April Mae.
My first thought was that I love the middle name Mae...but then I was like.. April... May. Not for me, but not my kid. One day she will grow up and fill out job interviews.
My daughter’s middle name is Mae too and I was born in April! I say go for it.

We already have a 4 and a half year old named April- Rose. The months in the names are significant for us hence the choice.
